• Agency Role: SOMOY TRAVELS acts as an agent for various third-party service providers, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel suppliers. We do not own, manage, or operate any of these services. Our responsibility is to facilitate your bookings and provide information.
• Accuracy of Information: While we strive to ensure the accuracy of all information provided on our website and by our staff, we rely on the information provided by our suppliers. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions from third-party providers.
• Changes to T&Cs: SOMOY TRAVELS reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time without prior notice. The updated T&Cs will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new T&Cs.

2. Booking and Payments

• Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the respective service providers. A booking is considered confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email or document from SOMOY TRAVELS.
• Pricing: All prices are quoted in [Currency, e.g., BDT/USD] and are subject to change without prior notice until confirmed. Prices may not include all taxes, fees, and surcharges, which will be specified at the time of booking.
• Payment: Full payment or a specified deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of your booking without prior notice.
• Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, mobile banking (bKash, Nagad), and cash (at our office). Details are provided in our “Payment Instructions.”
• Booking Reference: It’s your responsibility to provide correct and complete details (names as per passport, dates, etc.) at the time of booking. Any discrepancies may lead to additional charges or cancellation.

3. Cancellations, Amendments & Refunds

• Supplier Policies Govern: All cancellations, amendments, and refunds are strictly subject to the terms and conditions of the specific airline, hotel, tour operator, or other service provider. SOMOY TRAVELS will apply their policies for any changes or cancellations.
• Agency Service Charges: Any service charges or processing fees levied by SOMOY TRAVELS for bookings, cancellations, or amendments are non-refundable.
• Refund Processing: Refunds, if eligible, will be processed according to our Refund Policy, which can be found on our website. Please note that refund processing times vary and are dependent on supplier and bank processing times.
• Notification: All requests for cancellations or amendments must be submitted to SOMOY TRAVELS in writing (email or WhatsApp).

4. Travel Documents and Requirements

• Passport and Visa: It is solely your responsibility to ensure you possess a valid passport, necessary visas, and any other required travel documents for all countries you intend to visit or transit through. This includes checking passport validity periods (usually 6 months beyond your return date).
• Health and Safety: You are responsible for checking and complying with all health advisories, vaccination requirements, and safety regulations of your destination countries and transit points.
• Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Travel insurance can protect you against unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and other travel-related issues. SOMOY TRAVELS is not responsible for any losses incurred due to the lack of travel insurance.

5. Limitation of Liability

• SOMOY TRAVELS acts only as an agent for the service providers. We are not liable for any acts, omissions, defaults, or negligence of these third-party suppliers, nor for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by them.
• We are not liable for any loss, damage, or expense due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, government regulations, or technical failures.
• Our liability for any direct loss or damage arising from our own negligence will be limited to the value of the service charge paid to SOMOY TRAVELS for the specific booking in question.

6. Intellectual Property

• All content on the SOMOY TRAVELS website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of SOMOY TRAVELS or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our express written permission.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh.
• Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these T&Cs or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
